Adobe® FrameMaker® software has long been the ideal tool for creating long and complex documents that can be distributed to worldwide audiences. FrameMaker enables scalable, single-source authoring and multichannel publishing. Publish short documents, multivolume books, and more in print, Adobe PDF, HTML, SGML, XML, and other formats.

Overview:

This four-day course teaches participants the skills to use FrameMaker's word-processing features—format text with paragraph and character tags, design complex tables, insert automatically linked cross-references, and store reused content.

Delivery: Instructor-led, hands-on classroom delivery.

Introduction

Materials: Participants receive reference materials related to course topics. Follow up support by email or phone, on topics covered, is available to participants for 90 days (4 hour limit).

  • Understand how to use text flows within body and master pages
  • Import graphic content
  • Work with FrameMaker Graphic tools
  • Set up book files
  • Create table of contents
  • Create indexes
  • Print and PDF output
