Tim is an established Technical Writer / Consultant with a specialty in DITA XML-based authoring and publishing. He is an active member of OASIS DITA Enterprise Business Documents Technical Sub-committee. He has delivered highly-rated presentations on Agile documentation development, DITA, XML, and single-sourcing at the DITA 2007 East conference, Ontario STC chapter meetings, and the Single Sourcing 2001 Conference. He has published hundreds of articles, columns, white papers, manuals, and training courses on a wide range of subjects. Some of his achievements include leading a team that won eleven awards in six years from the Society for Technical Communications (STC), including one Distinguished Award and three Awards of Excellence. Tim also won the 1994 Andersen Consulting Business Technology Writing Award for best article in a Canadian trade or technical publication.
