Overview: This two day course teaches participants how to write ActionScript 2.0 within Flash. In addition to covering basic principles of AS programming, they will learn how to create a subset of the applications described in the source text. Please Note: There is no Server side programming included in this course

Prerequisite: Experience with Windows, a familiarity with Web technologies and various web browsers. Basic working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. You should already be comfortable with basic Flash concepts such as its tools, the animation techniques of motion and shape tweening, the various types of symbols and their differences. Also, you should have at least basic ActionScript knowledge, such as what stop, play, goto, and loadMovie do and what variables are.

Delivery: Instructor led, group paced, classroom delivery learning model with structured hands on activities and assignments.
Materials: Participants receive reference materials related to course topics. Follow up support by email or phone, on topics covered, is available to participants for 90 days.
