Objectives: Upon successful completion attendees will be able to:
- Understand the FrameMaker model and its conversion table
- Recognize structured documents and the elements which are to be used in the conversion of content
- Use the Element Catalog, Attributes and the Structure view in the conversion of documents
- Understand the relationship between siblings, parents, children, ancestors and descendants
- Update elements which are moved, deleted, merged or split as required
- Validate structured files to ensure that all "rules" are adhered to in the document
- Create structured FrameMaker documents for conversion to XML
