Materials: Participants receive reference materials related to course topics. Sample files used in class are available by email, or on disk. Follow up support by email or phone, on topics covered, is available to participants for 90 days.

Objectives: Upon successful completion attendees will be able to:
- Design and author XSLT style sheets for processing XML documents
- Understand the relationship between XSLT and the companion XPath language
- Specify components of XML documents with XPath expressions
- Select, sort, and manipulate XML content using XSLT and XPath
- Transform XML documents from authoring vocabularies such as DocBook to publishing vocabularies, such as XSLT for Web display and XSL-FO for print
- Customize industry-standard XSLT style sheets, such as DocBook, to meet your publishing requirements.
- Run XSLT transformations using industry-standard XSLT processors, such as Microsoft MSXML, Apache Xalan, and Saxon
